Education Programs at ACYR

Adult Education – Adult Education is funded by the Arizona Department of Education and offers basic skills development, pre-GED development, and GED preparation. Services are offered through regularly-scheduled classes at the main ACYR campus and at two outlying centers: Glendale Community Center and the West Valley One-Stop Center. There is also a flexible Distance Learning component that provides online instruction, e-mail or phone tutoring, and occasional face-to-face instruction.

Center of Excellence High School – The Center of Excellence is a public high school chartered by the State Board for Charter Schools. The school opened its doors in 1995 and is accredited by the North Central Association. The school offers all core courses and a variety of electives.
