How You Can Help

Support of local charitable organizations is the mainstay of the community’s ability to offer important social services.  Yet we know you want to ensure your investment is maximized, especially in these tough financial times.

Arizona Call-A-Teen Youth Resources, Inc. (ACYR) is a highly respected nonprofit organization that has worked since 1976 to provide vulnerable young people the tools to become productive workers and contributors to the community.  Its program offerings include a charter high school, workforce preparation, and adult education/GED preparation, all focused on preparing our youth for the challenges of the competitive global economy.

Please consider a “win-win” situation in determining your charitable giving:

Contributions up to $400* to each tax credit program may earn a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on Arizona income tax.  This means your total tax bill can be reduced by the amount you contribute.  In addition, your gift to ACYR also qualifies as a charitable deduction on your federal return if you itemize.  Contributions must be made by December 31 of each year to qualify. * Married couples may claim a combined total of $400 to each tax credit program when filing jointly.  Single people may claim a total of $200 for each program.  The credit can be claimed on personal income taxes only.  Contributions to schools from businesses are welcome and are deductible, but cannot be used to claim a tax credit.
Important Note:  ACYR is not a tax advisor.  As with any financial recommendation, contact a qualified tax professional for expert advice on your specific tax situation.
